How to create your masterpiece.
Read my straightforward guide to produce a treasured piece of work
FIRSTLY SELECT YOUR SCENE
I offer a small range of period portrait environments into which I will merge your pets face in a sympathetic and professional manner.
I then apply my post production magic to render brush strokes, paint cracks & other textures to simulate the look of an aged olde world masterpiece.
THEN SELECT SIZE & FRAMING
Whether you live in a terrace or a castle, we have a print size and framing option to suit your taste. We ship all framed portraits cosily bubble-wrapped inside a sturdy package.

Finally, Shoot Like A Professional
Follow these simple instructions to capture an amazing pet portrait
SELECT THE RIGHT LOCATION
Choose a room with a decent window, (with no direct sunlight beaming in) and sit down on the ground so that the window is diagonally behind you, over one of your shoulders. Turn off any lights and close doors/ draw blinds on any other windows in the room so there is only one light source for your photograph.
Have your pet sitting a little over arms reach away from you.
GET THE POSE AND ANGLE RIGHT
Turn your flash off, and don't forget to zoom in a little bit so your pet is not too small in the frame - we don't want a wide angle look which is the default on many camera phones! Ideally you want their nose facing slightly to your left or right - not pointing straight at you.
Depending on your level of patience, you might hold a toy or bit of food in one hand, and hold it out to your side - their nose should follow it giving you that nice portrait look.
CHOOSING THE BEST SHOT
Touch the screen of your phone where their face is, this will ensure that the focus is on them and not the surrounding environment.
Holding your phone as still as possible, take a couple of shots, then review and make sure whichever one you choose to upload, that their face is sharp and in focus.
